accompanied by a powerful visual directed by Global Faction. All proceeds raised in support
of Amnesty International.
She Cries is Baby Sol’s 3 rd single release taken from her debut EP ‘Before I Begin (The Journey)’
released in early 2011. The track written and inspired by the Rwandan genocide tells a moving
story of a woman who looses it all but still manages to smile and live on. The track is one of the
first tracks Baby Sol wrote although she has stated that: ‘I am not entirely convinced that I wrote it to
be honest, it was just so fluid, it just came through me and onto a page’ .
